Lunch with the Team
A colleague was leaving Gap.com to go to our sister brand, Piperlime. To celebrate her promotion, we had lunch with her and the entire Gap.com team at Taylor's Refresher in the Ferry Building.
I like Taylor's burgers a lot. They use all natural, juicy Niman Ranch beef (wasn't I craving meat yesterday?). I didn't get any fancy burgers such as Wisconsin Sourdough (grilled mushrooms, bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce on sourdough - drool), Texas burger (cheese, guacamole, salsa, mayo, pickled jalapeños) or Ahi Tuna burger. I got a no-frills delicious American cheese burger with lettuce, pickles and secret sauce on a toasted bun. The burger patty was cooked perfectly to a medium well. It was messy since the burger's quite large, but that didn't deter me from devouring it. We also shared some crispy regular and sweet potato fries. The weather was perfect - not too hot or cold, and great for outdoor seating. Needless to say, it was a satisfying lunch.Congratulations Antonia! We miss you!
